For cardio tennis, the objective is to repeatedly hit the ball to maintain optimum heart rate. The Tennis Recoil Ball is attached to an anchoring base by 12 feet of elastic that returns the ball as if an opponent is standing at the net ready to make a volley back to the hitter. 

Just remember that when hitting a low ball it returns to you as if from a sharp volley return.
