STEP 1 |
Clip the Swing Lock on to the golf club and slide up to grip. |
The dial face with numbers should point towards your target. |
While in lesson address position, use lower hand to turn the |
Golf Swing Lock body and rotate the
gun sight dial to align the |
gun sight with your eye. |
Record the golf club or putter shaft and dial pointer positions. |
Set the Golf Swing Lock on the golf club shaft to these |
settings at any time in the future to check the consistency of |
your address position. |
STEP 2 |
Freeze at the top of your lesson back swing. |
Turn just your head, release one hand and align the gun sight |
to your eye. |
Repeat your back swing and freeze to double-check your |
setting.
(The majority of professionals are a 11 or 12). |
Set the Golf Swing Lock on the shaft to these settings at |
any time in the future to check the consistency of your back |
swing position. |
STEP 3 |
For your pre-game golf training drill, set the Golf Swing |
Lock to your lesson settings and check that your club |
position, in the critical address and back swing position, has |
remained constant. See picture on the left for eye alignment of |
the gun sight. |
STEP 4 |
Repeat your golf swing to check that you are consistently |
returning to exact position. |
